There are some strengths and weaknesses in people at every stage of the life. Some of these strengths and weaknesses are explained by the psychologists and researchers in following manner: -

If the student’s strength is IntraPersonal:-

This skill may have positive or negative impact on the people. The people of this type prefer to live in isolation and do not like to talk much. They hesitate to talk wholeheartedly (openly) with others. They are fully aware about their own shortcomings. They do not like that their ego should be hurt at any cost. Usually these kinds of persons become psychologist, saints or higher level officers.

If the student’s strength is InterPersonal:-

These people are usually sociable and they like to talk wholeheartedly (openly) with others. They prefer to work with others in a team and can have exchange of views with them freely. They may become good leaders, trainers, teachers, actors and social workers.

If the student’s strength is Logical:-

These people are usually expert in logic and arguments. They try to solve all kinds of problems through psychological methods. They usually ask questions like “how to do it” “why to do it” etc. and are capable of solving the complicated problems easily. They may be idealist, doctors, engineers, bankers etc.

If the student’s strength is Linguistic:-

These types of people have better coordination between oral talk and writing style. They may be good orator also and have tremendous command over language compared to others. They have equal command over other languages also apart from their mother tongue. They may become good authors,lawyers, journalists, educationists, translators, poets etc.

If the student’s strength is Musical:-

The persons of this type are more emotional and usually love musical sound. The have powerful strength of easily differentiation of various musical rhythms, tone and sound etc. They can align themselves spiritually with others. Usually they may become very good music composers, singers, lyricist, music teachers etc.

If the student’s strength is Visual:-

The people of this category have abnormally good imagination power. They can read/ understand charts / maps / diagrams etc. better than others. They love in designing / decorative work. They can perfectly coordinate / synchronize between eyes and hand movements. These people can become good photographer, Interior Designer, Painter, Pilot, Guide etc.

If the student’s strength is Natural:-

The people of this category enjoy the attachment with natural environment like animals, birds and wild life etc. They have very kind heart/ soft corner towards the wild life animals / birds etc. They prefer to wander in the areas which are rich in natural beauty and like to enjoy camp fire, picnic in naturally rich environment. These types of people normally choose their career in Agriculture, Geologist, Zoologist, Ecologist, Environmentalist etc.

Learning Pattern According to Brain Mapping

Usually there are three patterns of learning:

(A) Visual (B) Auditory (C) Kinesthetic.

DMIT Report suggests the proportional strength of each learning pattern. It has been observed in our routine life that the parents usually insist on 3 -4 times writing the same study material for proper learning. But it is not appropriate method of learning for all kinds of people. If a child is very week in Kinesthetic mode then this advice of repeatedly writing will not be effective for the student. It may be possible that the Auditory mode of the student is more dominant. In such circumstances, the student should read the text loudly or somebody else should read loudly for him.

Visual Mode

If the concerned student’s visual mode is more dominant then he can learn effectively by seeing/ viewing the study material. Usually the student of this category prefers to study in isolation and not in a group. Usually these students are good readers and remember by linking/association of the study material through some imaginary objects.

Study Tips – ü The students of this category should be taught by using videos, pictures,Diagram, Maps etc.

Auditory Mode

If the concerned student’s dominant mode is auditory, then he can learn effectively by speaking loudly while reading or listing the content on high pitch sound. The students of this mode are more vocal (do not hesitate to reply instantly) and are more analytical. They can grasp foreign language quickly.

Study Tips –

ü The students should chant loudly the answers of each question.

ü They should involve in group study through discussions method.

ü They need longer time to read the text, hence sufficient reading time should be provided to them.

ü If possible the student should listen the recorded study material repeatedly.

Kinesthetic Mode

If the concerned student’s dominant mode is Kinesthetic, then the best mode for them is “learning by doing”. They usually prefer reading while walking, rather than sitting on the chair. They may be good in sports or outdoor activity and usually like dance and music.

Study Tips –

ü The best Study method for them is “learning by doing”.

ü They should be explained about the topic through multiple activities.

ü IIF These students should be encouraged for walking while reading the contents

ü These students should keep the book in their hand while reading.

Dr. Howard Gardner gave the concept of Multiple Intelligence theory. He has also written extensively on creativity, leadership and professional ethics. He received Nobel Prize for Multiple Intelligence in 1986 and lots of other awards.

Dr. Roger Sperry awarded Nobel Prize for balancing of Left Brian and Right Brain in 1981. The right brain concept was extensively understood by him. And he gave a model of Balanced Brain.

With the contribution of these two Scientist, Psychologist a well thought concept was advanced in continental and European countries under the name of DMIT project.

DMIT Means – Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test

We take three impressions of each finger including thumbs through scanner. Total Thirty Impressions are taken. By these impressions a report is generated of thirty Six pages. Through this report we can know the followings:
